Where we work

Timaru out to the Mackenzie

Timaru is the yard. Everything below is a normal week, not a special trip, and the drive time is the honest one rather than the flattering one.

Travelling is normal, not an exception

Most of our work sits inside an hour of Timaru, and the towns above are the ones we are in most weeks. But the wider ring is real: we describe our service area as Canterbury, North Otago and the Mackenzie, and we have done ten weeks on a single job two and a half hours from the yard.

The reason is simple. Almost every call we get is from a crew that has stopped, and a crew standing still costs more per hour than the drive does. So we would rather load the truck and go than tell you we do not come out that far.

What we will not do is pretend the drive is shorter than it is. If the answer is tomorrow morning rather than this afternoon, that is what you will be told on the phone, and you can plan around it.

Quick jump

Pick a town

Each page says what we have actually done there, which three services get asked for, and how long it takes us to arrive.

We also work across Canterbury, North Otago and the Mackenzie. If the job is worth the drive, we will drive it.

Not on the list?

Ring anyway. Canterbury, North Otago and the Mackenzie are all normal for us, and the worst that happens is we tell you straight away that we cannot help.
